FORE-I seeks to fund novel, game-changing, high impact pilot and proof of concept research from junior faculty at research centers in the United States and around the world.

Please note that grants are for one year and are not renewable. Grants are for a maximum of $30,000 and are predominantly for equipment and supplies to facilitate pilot and proof of concept projects. As such, it is our expectation that salary support for the Principal Investigator will come from other, existing sources. In addition, priority will be given to projects with no indirect costs. In any event, projects with indirect costs that exceed 10% will not be considered. Page requirements on the Grant Application are for maximums—shorter sections are fine, if appropriate.
